Our story
In the trades since 2000
Long before Greenspring had a name, our team was hanging drywall, cutting trim, and turning units across the DMV. We've been doing construction work since 2000 — and Greenspring Construction Services was founded to bring that 25+ years of combined hands-on experience under one roof, with the licensing, insurance, and documentation that serious clients require.
Today we're the single vendor behind unit turnovers for DC property management portfolios, the licensed remediator that closes out mold issues properly, the 2am call when a pipe lets go, and the contractor homeowners trust with their kitchens and basements. Different jobs — same standard: a clear written scope, clean work, and photos to prove it.

Three habits that shape every job
Scope in writing
Line-item estimates with materials and assumptions stated up front. If it's not in the scope, we'll tell you before it's a change order — not after.
Document everything
Field photos on every visit, moisture logs on every dry-out, clearance packages on every remediation. Your file should never depend on anyone's memory.
Own the outcome
One contractor from demo to final coat means there's never a "that was the other company's part." If we touched it, we stand behind it.

Owner-led, on your job
Jason "Jay" Nyanin founded Greenspring and still runs projects day to day. When you work with Greenspring, the person quoting your job and the person accountable for it are the same person — backed by certified inspectors, seasoned field crews, and an office team that actually answers.
